"If we only had half the heart that this dude has, I'm convinced the human race would be a different species!" My soul smiles because I saw Doug Henry living as only Doug Henry does and most importantly he is playing the music that he has inside of him with all that he has! If we can learn one thing from Doug Henry! Lets all remember to pursue what we find passionate in life, work towards it, and to not die with the music still inside of us! Thanks for teaching that to us Doug!

Doug Henry earned a bronze medal at Winter X-Games 14!

January 21, 2010. I got a phone call from my good friend asking... hey you want to go to Pitt-X in Verona NY? Doug Henry is in town testing for Winter X-Games 14!"

I said... WHAT??? He's racing???

Sounds like an everyday news story so far right? ...Well ... That's not even the case! For those of you that may not know, Doug was paralyzed in a supermoto accident back in 2007

If you don't know alot about Doug let me just quote something I recently read in a recent article. It was titled "How Doug Henry Changed Motocross Forever"! Enough said right? How'd ya like to have a story about YOU with that title? Most of us can only dream of that happening!

I write this story about Doug not to tell you how cool his Yamaha race sled is or how amazing it is that he nabbed bronze at the X-Games (almost silver if he had another lap) I write this story to share with you that for a brief day hanging around shooting, watching him wrench on his sled, all with that contagious smile on his face. It reminded of two words... Perseverance and Inspiration! Doug has re-defined both!
